Very nice saber for the price

The saber is sturdy, and it works. The blade is cheap and has a slight rattle, but it also works pretty well. For $200, I don't think you can buy a better saber. My main complaint is the lack of information and documentation regarding the soundboard. I bought a Gundam beam saber sound font for this saber, and I had a difficult time figuring out how to access the sound font storage for the saber. The soundboard has no micro SD card slot, so the storage is onboard. To access it, ensure the saber is off, then connect a USB C cable between the saber's charge port and a computer, then hold the power button. This will cause the soundboard to boot in storage mode. It appears to have a 256 MB flash chip, with slightly less usable capacity. The sound fonts are not directly compatible with Proffie sound fonts, as some simple file renaming is necessary to get the sound font to work properly. I used an existing sound font on the board as a template for the file names and manually renamed all the sound effect files. It worked well enough, so I'm happy enough with the saber. Another complaint is that the smooth swing seems a bit choppy on some sound fonts. That said, the smooth swing is miles better than any Disney saber's pre-programmed swing sounds, so it's still pretty nice.

The saber was $200 shipped, and it's a great value at that price. Don't expect anything super incredible (compared to other custom sabers in the hobby) and you'll be very satisfied with your purchase.
